South East VAG tuning company?

Could anyone point me in the right direction to a reliable tuning company in the south east/London area that can do or has done big turbo conversions on LC? I know of quite a few in the midlands but wondering if there is one nearer south??

Do these guys do the IHI BT Conversion? has anyone here had work done by them..?

That's exactly what I'm after - are they capable/reliable in terms of BT conversions like IHI and GT28RS.....

Has anyone actually had anything done along those lines by them or know of anywhere else in the South that has done it?

I'm looking for someone along the lines of quality service like MRC tuning in the midlands etc.....

Ive just dropped my car off at VAGTech, great blokes an dthey really knopw there stuff, you should see some of the cars they have in there. Give them a call as they may have done a few. (there changing my turbo so very similar to BT conversion) But they have done some very big Turbo conversions! http://www.vagtech.co.uk/index.htm

BBT have put there prices up (double most quotes i got), they told me loads of parts dont exist when io asked how much (i know they do as VAGtech are now fitting them) and you cant get your car in there

VAGtech have done some excellent conversions and I certianly rate them, however, if I'm gonna go for a tuner in motorsport valley, I may as well go with MRC just up the M40 (who I rate even more!) I was hoping that there is someone London / SE based.....

If your up for driving to Portsmouth (not exactly S/E but close) then I would highly recommend JKM Motor services, thats who will be doing my GTRS when it finally happens.

They look after you, believe me.

I went to Sanspeed in Bexleyheath with my old car, they offered many options. Its a family run firm who specialise in rallying and race preparation. They have an onsite RR and custom mapped my old car to new internals that i'd bought.

Great service and good people, Graham, but not necessarily VAG specialist and i haven't spoken to them in a while. Still worth a stab in the dark they were excellent in the past. Very knowledgable about actual engines and builds, not just good with a lap top if you catch my drift.

Good to hear, I may be getting my REVO from those guys (JKM), they were very helpful over the phone. I Think they have an SCN RR day on Dec 2nd?

You should do mate, they spent ages running mine up and down the road trying different setting to ensure they got it perfect.

try TTS roadsport (the TT shop) in bedford, they do BT conversions. or jabba just up the A1 in peterborough
