ok i have done a search on here and can't find anything...but i have a sony m800 head unit..old i know but still kicks ass...
i know by reading on here i need an aerial booster as radio reception crap...
i'm not sure which wire on my stereo to connect to the aerial booster..
dont have instructions anymore and sony haven't got it on their site either
i have on my wiring loom (except the speaker connections)
1 x yellow
1 x red
1 x black
1 x dark blue
1 x light blue wire with "att" on it
and 1 x blue with white stripe with "amp rem max 0.3A (i think its this 1 but need confirmation)
http://
any help is greatly appreciated as i have had to put back in my old tape aura and that doesn't connect to my sony cd changer in the boot cause i lost the "connects2" connector.
thanks people

Try this! using a tester! on the head unit if it shows power and when you power of the head unit it should be off! Just to be on the safe side!

i think i have a multi meter somewhere..god knows where though.

do you know what sort of volts should be coming out of it and any idea what the aerial booster needs.

'amp rem' will be the amplifier remote turn on - used as a signal for amps elsewhere.

I'm not sure if that will power an aerial amplifier - I'm pretty sure it's a different cable in the Leon.

oh poo thats blown it then.. back to square 1.
anyone know what wire i should be looking for..
does the booster need a permanant live or switched live so it only comes on when the head unit turns on?
got one off flea bay but it doesn't look like there is no instructions...typical

these leons have tight corner when fitting after market head units, espically when you have dozen phone leads. just a night mare getting it in!
