Something or nothing?

Yesterday I lost an inch to an inch & a half of clutch pedal travel - I still had the biting point and car was still drivable (64 plate Leon TDi).
Once car was driven about 3 miles all ok - is this the start of a fault or just a one off?

You mean the pedal was normal again?

If so you want it looked at anyway I think

Have you checked your brake fluid level ?
Clutch and brakes use same reservoir.
