Something I have been meaning to ask

Obviously the LCR is FF drive, and turbocharged. Do you guys ever have any problems with grip etc through corners and in the wet?

I was talking to a friend of mine and he was saying I should get a 4WD or FR drive car if I was going for a turbo'd car.

The problem is, I haven't actually driven an LCR yet (but will be soon) so any help would be great!

Cheers! :)

Obviously the grip is less in the wet, and the traction control will cut the power if you try to 'boot' it too hard in the wet.

However, IMO this is something that you would experience with most type of car in the wet, so its just a case of learning your limits and not being wreckless!!

Equally I wouldnt advise against an LCR just becuase of it, as you can still have alot of fun thats fr sure!!!

I have wondered about this to. I have an LCR and it can struggle for grip. Obvious times are setting off and grip when cornering but i find when the roads are a little greasy i can struggle to pull out from a junction as quickly as i'd like.

I'm planning on getting a remap and i can only assume it would struggle even more.

This of course isn't just LCR's but all FWD cars. Any more than 260bhp with equivalent torque and i think 4WD might be best.

you could have a fiesta and still struggle for grip a good launch is all about feeding the power in at the right revs. just like you would drive a rwd car with the ass hanging out your feeding the power gentally on and off to maitain a smooth slide. But yea 4wd`s great if you want to sit in the limiter and drop the cluch.
