I can't for the life of me remember who it was.

Because my seats have no pre-tensioners i have the airbag warning light on my dash. MOT isn't due to october but i'd like this sorted well in advance.

The chap who fitted the seats said he was trying to figure out which resistor he needed to solder into the connector.

Did you ever find out?

Does anyone else have any genious ideas how to fool the airbag system into ignoring the pre tensioners?

Cheers

you need a reasistor (spelling) and solder it in the plug under the seat BUT i havent found out what size you need or wich pins to solder it to, if you lind out please do post it up, its the same reasistor you get if you change the steering wheel.

seat airbags

but no pretensioners

if you're using a bucket, you'll be using race harnesses too? so no need for the other airbags either - just pull the fuse for the air bags

I have a harness on my side. G/F hates them so she has the normal belt.

My only worry is to get the light to dissapear come MOT time.

in a crash your missus may as well not wear a belt if you have a bucket seat..... the belts just don't work with the seat in a crash
