Some new additions :)

Well finally decided to take the plunge and get some new wheels for the cupra. Mainly due to having the new brakes. They would have fitted under the standard alloys but would need about a 10mm spacer. I'd been looking for ages, wanting a set of Compo's really but Mr bank manager he say no! So finally saw a set of these on Martyn's car (sorry mate dont mean to look like i was copying you!!!! ). The one deciding factor was the fact they cleared his brembo's no worries. So here we are. I now need to sort some coilovers cos it looks higher than a giraffe on stilts!!

Cheers for the info Martyn about them, the colour does work well with the calipers didnt think about it when i got them.

ah dont mention the 'K' word! dont want to jinx it! The brakes are gonna need some bedding in but already the peddle feel is brilliant.

does your front grille moving back all the time p iss you off? mine did so stick some hot glue on it and it'll hold it in place but not so much that you cant pull it out when required! nice wheels by the way!

Cupra51: Well first time i went out in them it seemed to cause i bit of wobble in the steering wheel, but being new tyres they need to bed in anyway. I had 195/40/16's on the standards anyway so not too bad.

Davidol: Hell yeah its seriously annoying! When i put my car on our rollers i have to take it out completely otherwise the fan blows it away!

P.S Andy could you tell me how much it would be for the fitting of some lowering springs (just springs not got the £££ for some shocks with holiday and all that...)
