sold my mk 2 gone to a mk4

finally changed my car had a gti 8v now gone to the mk4 but only a 1.2 the best thing is the mpg loved the old mk2 was a great car bit basic but great to drive cant see me keeping the 1.2 for long will have to go for the turbo or a tdi she will be missed

tell me about it this car was for my misses the gti was so good it was great for the lanes but i cannot see me keeping it may look for a cupra and get some fun back in my life

got nearly all the stuff there for the FR interior ,back bumper spoiler and could have the side skirts as well the car done less than 6k as well so just need the power now its a shame to put it in a 1.2

I think that downgrade would bring tears to my eyes!

I drove the miss' 1.2 Polo back from Bournmouth in the summer ....the motorway has never seemed such hard work, especially when you have to alter your motorway driving style into Granny mode. You'd think changing down a gear would make it accel faster ...but it doesn't seem to in that car, at any speed above 30mph! :help:

cant handle it if i cant get a cupra i will just have to get a mk 2/3 for my self YES

For what you payed for the mk4 im sure you could of got a mk3 cupra?? and had enough change to get the miss`us a bus pass :lol:

Your a few sandwiches sort of a picnic!!!

I dont think i could get a slower car. Went from a 1.2i Nova to my current 1.4i Ibiza. Keep this for a while, then its ever conversion time, or a faster automobile...

I really like the whole basic rough and ready aspect of the old MK2's. I wouldn't sell my 16v Cupra for anything.

Well, i suppose id part ex for a Porsche!!
