So what does a 'good' Leon cost?

Just having a peruse as the Ibiza bigger (and 6 speed) brother. The price range seems massive for the MK1.

Are there any big problems that emerge? If you bought a 2001 Leon with 60k on the clock for 5 grand, is it likely to be a rubbish one?

Personally, I would go for a newer one.

I've worked in the automotive industry for 7 years and have learned that most Car Manufacturers use the 1st year or two of car production to iron out any probs.

If you go for a 52 plat or later, you get the facelift and most of the issues sorted!!

I got a 2002 (51 plate) for 6400 with 24000 miles on clock and it's bloody brilliant, no idea what only a good one would cost
