Hi ya everyone.

Well a few weeks ago I decided that I'd had enough of my troublesome LCR (do a search) so decided it was time to call it quits and move on...managed to get a good trade in on a WRX with Proddrive Performance Pack :) and am happy.

Thanks to everyone's help whilst I was on here, you guys are great.

Cheers
Russell

PS, quick pic of the new car:

Hi

Paul, the LCR is a rapid car, so the step up is not huge, but definately noticable.
Performance is
4.8 (0-60) as claimed by Prodrive and EVO magazine
14.1 (0-100)
261bhps
257lb/ft of torque.

The car feels nicely placed on the road as well.

As for fuel, not noticed much change so far but have been driving fairly steady in the shocking weather we have had lately.
It needs 98ron plus according to the filler cap lol..

Was your LCR standard mate? As a mapped one would be similar performance. I hear they are less weight than the STI, so a little quicker (Non PPP obviously)..

LCR was standard Ben. (225)
I didn't opt for the STi, just out of my range but preferred the earlier boost of the WRXPPP/....Sti's dont get wound up until 4krpm, this kinda suits my driving better.
Would be interesting to see a straight line comparison.

Lovely car, hate them or love them you can't deny they are a cracking car. BUT, I just couldn't have one in the typical blue/gold fashion. Black with dark wheels for me :)

Lovely car though, hope you enjoy it and have a more trouble free time with this ;)
