Lancs.
I managed to hit a kerb at under 5mph in the damned snow on a right turn and whacked my front drivers side alloy into the kerb. The result is a small chunk across the outer diameter of the wheel missing. A local Seat dealer cheerfully informed me that a replacement will be £220 incl. VAT. For one lousy wheel!!! As my insurance excess is £450 and I am considering lowering the car and getting wider rims/tyres, does anyone have some suggestions for a silver tolly v5 170? Failing that its a search of local dismantlers/scrap yards.

I would personally get a whole new set if you were going to anyway. There's some ideas here (I personally think those I put up on post 17 suit):

Either that or 5 spokes. I thought the ones this guy bought looked quite good. They can't be too chunky IMO:

If you really must get a replacement to match for now then definitely go scrappies. Do an online search but make sure you get a photo and confirmation it is in good condition and not in need of a refurb. It will help if you submit the part number.
