Started the bodywork today, took most of the afternoon but I'm one panel join down [B)]

Smoooth

Still need to start on the other side and then fill in the spoiler holes in the boot but I'm getting there and the effort definately looks worth it.

good luck pete, these are notorious for cracking as standard, the rear ones near the lights on the ibiza were forever cracking the paint, could be the movement between the panels that i imagine occurs, good to see your cracking on with it though,no stopping you.;)

If they crack then I'll dig the whole lot out and weld it up so there can't be any movement. :D I don't remember my old Cordys paint cracking there and I took that on a few track days and it got driven hard so I'm hoping it'll be fine.

Bit of cold weather never hurt anyone

Well the boot will be VERY well sound deadened mate so I'm hoping it wont be shaking about much, Plus the subs in the boot will only really run when the boot is open so less chance to be popped out then ;)

I did find a problem though. It appears the Mk3 Cordoba is slightly different in a couple of ways. The black strips that run over each side of the front screen/doors/rear screen aren't present on the Mk3. They will ruin the clean look I'm after so I'm trying to find a way around that atm :(

and I'm thinking about removing the petrol flap too
hinged rear light looks good on a few dubs i've seen, with the filler cap hidden behind it,wouldn't cause to much problems relocating, but a bit of work with the rear lense i imagine
