Smoked OEM Quality Rear Lights

Hi folks I've had a search but can't find much.

I'm looking for some light smoked (Read: Mk3 Golf like) rear lights for my Leon. Does anybody do them OEM style that I can purchase ? I'd rather not smoke the originals as I don't think the finish looks great.

All of the treads I checked the ebayers are now gawn or the product doesn't exist.

Thanks in advance guys n gals,
- Jamie

Full smoked or just the red part?

I have these.

I had both the full smoked and the the ones with the clear section but kept these.

They were available form a German ebay seller and as you wanted the finish is perfect. They are not home tinted etc..

Those look the business.

Do you have any problems with passing your MOT ?

So are they still available, or do you fancy selling those ?

Those are exactly what I am looking for. Nice work :)

I'll tell you about the MOT next week. First one :D
Should be fine. The bulbs all show the colour they are supposed to. I have 2 stick on red reflectors for underneath the units. Should be enough to pass.

They are still available I think but you'd have to scour ebay. I aint selling mine anytime soon :).

Miles ahead of you chap. I am looking right now.

Pick up my motor on Saturday. This could be the start of the end for my bank balance :)

Good luck with your MOT. Keep me posted, can't see how it would fail, smoked lights tend to pass anyways do they not ? Well, not heavily smoked but if you shine a light on the reflector and you can still see it through the paint I thought that was good enough for government word.

im sure it has to allow a certain ammount of light through plus your not allowed the red reflectors to be covered otherwise it will be definate failure! as ive looked into it before.

There is some going in the classifieds section now. Maybe not the full smoke ones. Email the seller for pics.

Mine havnt got the lines going accross the top half of the lights, but apart from that there the same. I got mine from halfords and cost about 110 kwid. I didnt like them at first, but after a week or two i got use to them and i think they go with the colour of the car

Wow,

Those are some great looking lights.

Are those the LED/Lexus lights sprayed red ? They have a very strong VW Golf look about them.

Oh and cheers for the heads up guys, I'll take a peak in the classifieds !

I bought those from a online shop in Denmark. They are not Lexus style lights. Cant remember the name of the producer....

Are they full LED lights?

They came from this site:

They are really RED so you probably need to tint them with spray or film. They are full LED yes exept for blinker and reverse.

I like em. A little "molding" of the backside plastic of the lights had to be done for proper fitting. Not to bad really.
