Has anyone had a front plate made up to fit the length of the surround exactly, as opposed to overhanging it? What size is it, from where and do you get any grief from dibble?

think that would be too small to be honest. i'm running a 3/4 sized front plate and wouldn't want it much smaller. it only overhangs the sides by about 1 inch ish.

it is a lot smaller than original one though and still big enough not to get grief from the plod.

Looks good, any online places that will do smaller sizes that you know of, where did you get yours?

Cheers

I suppose if you just cut the width down and left the same height you'd have to remove the space and would be more likely to get pulled than with a 3/4 size plate?

naughy!!

i do like the look of smaller plates but running the risk of being stopped by the police and getting a £30 fine isnt worth it...especially since once a month there are targets to be met!!

i've had mine on for about 6 months, been sat behind police cars, followed them, driven past them etc and not been pulled once. touch wood. also running a german rear plate and had nothing for that either, i think police may be more strict in some places, but at the end of the day its only a number plate, you can still read it - unlike the old school italic lettered plates that used to be oh sooooo cooool

I don't think it looks too small at all, looks spot on IMO :)

Fancyplates.com did mine to my exact measurements. It is exactly, well within a couple of mm, of the size of the plate it sits onto.

I'll try and remember to dig out my receipt for the plate later, as the measurements are on there.
