What small, fairly cheap and subtle mods would you recommened for a leon MK2 1.9TDI stylance (black)?

Im still pondering around the modding idea and im not sure what to do or what rout to go down. my last car (citreon saxo) i did a lot of modding to and i was really in to it, but need some advice with the leon as its quite a diffrent car. I am a young chap (18) and want to get a sporty look withought spoiling the nice look of the car.

Im pondering around the idea of a Filter, painting the calipers red and Possibly some bigger nice alloys though they are expensive and this may lead to lowering as i dont want it to look like a tractor.

Lowering the car will definatly improve the looks no end.
Of course wheels will give a nicer look. I think the bigger wheels and lowering will go hand in hand so might be worth saving up for those together.
Filter wont really do anything, better off spending elsewhere.

oval exhaust trim will beef upp the rear slightly.

calipers and the aerial can be done relatively cheap, cupra-a pillars again £18 for both fronts for £65 you can change the pedals. All are cosmetic.
as Dan said though lowering the car is also an idea.

Save your money & buy a nice set of 18" alloys get a set of 40mm lowering springs.Or if you want some cheep dress up goodies try some chrome mirror covers at £40, chrome exhaust trim (get one cheep from Halfords).

I agree with the above. Get a S2000 aerial (12 pound from ebay) Chrome wing mirrors (40 pound dealer) & maybe Chrome tailgate trim (40 pound dealer). I think the tailgate trim & mirrors would look nice on the black leon. Check out my Cornish FR post to see what an improvement the aerial is!!

Nice, looks good with the mud flaps :funk:, might invest in some myself, did you buy from Seat & are they dealer fit?
Agree with the lowering, one of the things that really spoils the Leon IMO

TBH I like the stylance wheels, if the car was lowered & with the mud flaps fitted it might look real nice

Oh btw the exhaust trim really sets the car off (I got the cheap Halfords ones), would think the chrome mirror covers would do likewise

I have the same car as you, but without the mudflaps and squeaky toy :p Have a look at my sig for small mods.
My next mod will be 18" Alloys, just cant decide if I should get Seat or some other brand. After that will be either lowering or Revo. Also in the process of painting the hubs (they go rusty) and might paint the calipers as well. Still undecided on an exhaust trim, if it improves the look or not.

Good luck, keep us updated as to what you choose.

Depends on money but priority would be to get some 18s and decent 40mm lower suspension (H&R).

I'm not a fan of covering cars in bits of chrome/alu/aerials etc. Waste of money.

Edit: and lose the mudflaps!
