Just had a look at my engine bay looking for some loose pipes and observed a small pool of oil on top of the filter housing this is the second time i have noticed this. I have checked all bolts in the area of the housing and had a good look but no sign of where it's coming from any ideas????

It could be coming from the oil temp/pressure sender if you have a oil temp/ pressure gauge. Did you make sure the sender was really tight, threadlock etc?

Stick some PTFE tape on the threads or I used Loctite 577 thread sealant.
Don't overtighten, I heard some horror stories about people snapping them.
