six speed gear box

hey people how we all doing im new to this ive got an 51 plate ibiza cupra with 240bhp and wonna put a six speed box on it does any 1 know of a way to do it i was thinking bout the ibiza fr but dont know if they are the same mounts

Ibiza mk4 Fr petrol and Cupra petrol have a 5 speed box and do not require a 6 speed as they are geared for about 170mph. There is a mk4 on here with about 350BHP and it has no need for a 6 speed.

The diesel MK4's make good use of a 6 speed but the ratios would be all wrong for a petrol.

The best way if you are really set on the idea is to look into a leon Cupra or FR petrol as they have a 6 speed.

5spd box is 02J, look for a 02m 6spd box...

If its a 51 plate (and going off your aviator pic) you have a mk3 ibiza not a mk4, so your in the wron section.

The only mk4 ibiza's that came with a 6 speed box was the derv cupra, FR and some 130pd sports.
Dont know of anyone who has changed a 5 speed box for a 6 speed.
