Single > Dual Exhaust.... how?

Hi all, what is the best way to get a dual exhaust setup like in the picture below on a currently single exhaust 1.9 TDi Stylance? Also can anyone post pics if they have the single Seat exhaust trim fitted, as the photos on the Seat website are to close to see how they would look.

Don't want anything in your face style, just something neat and refined to fill the space better then the OEM pea-shooter:happy:

Thanks

Hi,
Sorry to hijack your thread - don't know the answer to your exhaust question as I have a 2.0TDI,but I notice in your signature that you have an armrest which doesn't sound like the standard Seat one. Any details on where to get it from and how much? a picture would be great, thanks

OK I have linked to my original Armrest thread, and added info of where you can purchase from at the bottom of the first post. I highly recommend this armrest, really comfortable, and better then the Seat version in my opinion. I have also combined it with a iPod dock. Good luck.

Thanks for posting that Cuprito. Is that your car? Looks sweet.

If so could you give me a step by step guide. Like how the hell do you go about cutting it back, and where did you purchase that exhaust trim and what size is needed?

Was the exhaust from Seat something like £40/50? buy an aftermarket one from a motor factors or accessory shop and fit yourself, all done for around £20, mine was £14 and fitted outside shop using a small socket over existing pipe, only a single, but saw single into double exits too.

Whats the best tool to use to cut the exhaust?

Also does anyone have the single Seat sports one fitted, and have a photo?

Yep, it's my baby :) Thanks mate..

Everything was done in the exhaust workshop. They cut the pipe where it curves, and put a Y pipe and installed the trim. I donnow what size is it, i saw it at the workshop and said " i want this immediatly"

Can anyone tell me the size of the FR exhaust like in the picture in the first post? Are they 3 inches (75mm) each or less?

Sweet I look forward to it. I have found Y pipes but they all seem to be 3 inch pipes, is this bigger then the FR exhaust?
