Silver cordy sx 16v

well after crashing my red x plate corby sx 16v big style its now been stripped & scrapped http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=163309&page=3

ive bought myself another corby 2.0 16v

R reg in silver ................ebay bargin £375.00 need bit work (mot aug )

after a good wash

front bumper needs repainting along with the grill

slight damage tot he pass rear 1/4 panel

wheels aare in mint cond with toyos ( selling these mind)

the engine is a bit rattley but think its the water pump so off to euro car parts i go

purchsed teh following for £95 quid ( mate works there)

conti-tech cambelt
cam belt tensioner
complete water pump & housing
thermostat & seal
alt/air con belt
pas belt
4x ngk plugs
oil filter
fuel filter
2x ltr blue coolant

bought the oil from another shop as only use valvoline 15w/40 & lucas oil stabiliser treatment £22.75 for both

due to my ribs still killing me another good friend of mine ( own garage ) did all the work for £100.00 so im a happy bunny .

got a few other freinds hekping me this week get a few other mods fitted & smasll jobs done too

1: recaro cloth interior going in

(from an r reg ibiza )

2: full set of black diamond grooved discs & mintex pads
3: 10mm rear stub axle spacers to go on the rear
4: fondmetal stars going on but getting them refurbed in grey anthricite
5: momo gearknob &poss momo wheel again but tempted to leave the airbag wheel on at mo
6: when i can be bothered my mk2 golf 4 branch ( large hitty stick required )

the car didnt come with teh recaros , i had them from my red 1 i crashed


they came out of an R reg seat ibiza gti 16v cupra model ( only very few made with teh recaro in ) had to buy the full car to get them which was on ebay too but accident damaged cost me £500.00 but broke car for parts so were free

little more to update ya on

Had to swap all the nearly new suspension over from my crashed red corby as the rear springs were snapped & shox were shafted (hence y sat so low at rear )

fitted my black dimond grooved front & rear discs
fitted the 10mm rear stub axle spacers

detailed the calipers up red today & fitted my fondmetal stars fresh from the refurbishers

before : very bad lip peel & few kurb marks

just need to knock the camber back on the pass front & get teh tracking done now

+ i just bought a 4x4 mud playtoy so getting a few things for that

spending most of my time looking for a job or going to waste of time interviews

finaly got round to fitting my audi s2 twim pot calipers ...wow what a difference


stock 280mm gilrilng 54 front caliper

the mahoooooooooosive s2 twin pot (girling 60)

direct fit onto my hub , brake hose & 280mm discs , had to use the audi s2 pads .
