I have removed my cupra sill plates in preperation for a respray and the rubber base has left some really bad stickers, like number plate fixing stickers. Woundering what the best way to remove these, i have tried boiling water but didnt really budge anything,

Any ideas?

You could try WD40 or Halfords do this: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/...uctId_250793_langId_-1_categoryId_165651#dtab I used it to get the residue left when I debadged a previous car and also the glue stuff that was left when removing door pillar trim.

can vouch for the sticky stuff from halfords ,

had loads of various sticky pads behind the number plate of my front bumper
(as theres no holes in my bumper since new poeple have been using various types of sticky bits )

i will say tho your best bet is to spray it on and leave for about 10 - 20 minutes , before atttempting to clean off

i wass a little to impatient and was expecting it to be gone in 2 mins :D

but left it the 2nd attempt and job done
