Sidelights - How do you swap the bulbs?

Front of a mk1 leon and i have changed the full beam and dipped but cant get the sidelights out as they arent on a metal catch they just seem to be stuck in with no way to remove them, any tips?

Yep the way to do them is to...




PULL HARD.......... they are just clipped in, i twisted them and pulled at same time and they popped out... just make sure you push the new bulbs in as if you dont and push the bulb into the headlight the clip makes it jump out of the holder and into the headlight casement, then your in a pickle... u have to fish the bulb out thou the bottom on the headlamp with a coat hanger... trust me i had to... lol

I just changed mine. The holders were in very tight and I couldn't pull them out by hand. Even tried some pliers but nothing.
Had to use a flatblade screwdriver and slide it between one of the clips on the sidelight holder and the headlight housing. Then with my free hand lifted the sidelight holder towards the screwdriver and pulled out. Came out straight away..
