Sidelight bulb & Key problems

All,

:help:

Two quick questions, need to change the sidelight in my 51 lcr but can't figure out how the thing comes out!! I have read a few forum posts and they say to pull the bulb out while wiggiling it around however maybe I am being stupid but is it the white bulb holder I should be pulling or the black part that sits a bit further behind (containg all the wires)?

Secondly anybody got any tips on getting the key. I have changed the battery in my key but unfortunately it does not always work to lock and unlock the car. I think it must be a bad connection as when you press either the lock or unlock button the red light on the key does not flash. If you keep pressing it it will eventually flash and it will work, then it seems to work for a few presses before given up again, any suggestions??

Thanks
BV

remove indicator from from car, hold the indicator in 1 hand and wiggle/pull black rubber cover, not the wires!!! it should go "pop".

on the key sounds like it might be time to get a new key?
but there is a thread on here about pulling it apart. could check for bad connection.
personally i'd get a new key off ebay, £20ish.
