Side skirts not standard in UK

Hi everyone, as I think a lot of us are waiting on delivery or like me a build date after 6months of the MK4 Cupra Leon. I wanted to know if as a UK resident can I request my car to come with the side skirts that come standard across Europe but not us. I think it’s a shame that we don’t get them here and make all the difference in the cars aesthetics.
Thanks

If side skirts aren’t part of the standard spec or offered as an extra cost factory option on the UK spec Cupra Leon then IMHO Seat / Cupra wouldn’t fit them as part of your car’s build on the factory production line.

If they’re available as an official Cupra accessory as a dealer fit option, then you could ask your dealer for a quote to supply and fit these, but I dare say it won’t be cheap by the time the dealer’s painted them in body colour to match the car.

Thank you for this. Cleared a lot up. This is my first time ordering a brand new car and have gone all in with the VZ3 so I guess I wanted it to be the best car possible.

I have ordered them for mine, £560 painted and fitted. You can ask the dealer to order them as a spare part for a first edition car, providing that they have the VIN number of one, that's precisely what I have done.

The part is very much in short supply and I expect to be waiting a few weeks yet.

Thank you for your reply. Is this your car? Did you also spec those wheel through the dealer?
I am still waiting on a build date which is upsetting this means I wouldn’t know the VIN number. Would I have to wait for the car to be delivered before I order them for my VZ3 Spec ?

Sideskirts came as standard on mk1 leon fr / cupra

The mk4 are sideblades, really needs some skirts. Looks tame without them

Yep, that's my car. I bought the wheels through the accessory catalogue so not spec'd as an option (I have 4 VZ3 wheels in my garage).

The sideblades, as @BigJase88 correctly points out, are not skirts... but still the car looks better with them on. Its not your VIN the dealership needs to order them, its the VIN of a first edition car, as its this model which has them on standard, but they will fit the Cupra Leon hatch.
