Just to make those with side skirts aware of a problem i have come across with my K1 but it could affect any car fitted with skirts. It seems the rear bracket that holds the side skirt on located in the rear wheel arch can be a bit brittle. Mine has snapped clean in 2 between the 2 screws. I am awaiting Seats decision on whether they replace it under warranty.

I suspect that the side skirt was initially put on twisted and has eventually given up the ghost at the weakest point. The nearside side skirt was replaced after a few weeks as that was twisted badly.

On initial inspection the bracket seems to be all one piece with the side skirt so it could mean a whole new unit?. I may be wrong though - fingers crossed.

Mine and Owens has done the same thing on normal Cupras with dealer fitted skirts. I am not too bothered about it as the skirt itself is held well in place with adhesive.
