a standard cupra won't keep up with what you've listed above. Pretty poor in standard trim imo.
140bhp in an almera gti. Should have the edge over one to be fair. stats aren't that great. 1/4 in 16.4secs. hmm
Might be a sign you have a problem..

The almere runs a 150bhp version of the Nissan SR20 DE engine (same engine as a Pulsar and 200sx without the turbo) and is a quick well handling car.

Having owned one and currently owning a Primera GT (same engine again), I would expect you to beat it but not by a huge margin.

One thing though, those angine in NA form ran 240bhp in the early Sunny works cars with little more than engine management and an exhaust.
The internals are built to take a lot more power than standard, and a turbo conversion is straightforward enough.

i think i will try and get one of these or the primera next year when i am getting myself a flat.... as they seem to be quite cheap!

very impressed, my old man used to have the primera eGT and it was quick, but i thought it would have been alot closer!

My sisters boyfriends got an almera gti. They are quick. I think his is running near 200bhp now though but i dought a standard one would beat a standard cupra.
