Bit of a weird one but luckily can find someone who knows this off the top of their head haha. I wants to order a new shift knob from https://wearelikewise.com/ and this is all fine and good however these are usually designed for threaded shifters. Ive had a look on my ibiza and like over European cars the shifter isn't threaded and has the one time use clamp that can be removed.
Luckily likewise sell a european adapter for their shifter which will sit over the tube and can be tightened with some Allen keys. however i need to know what the diameter of the shifter is and this will either be 10mm 11mm 12mm on the ibiza. Most sources online say that the Gold and Polo's are 12mm and being under the VW group i assume this would be the same on the ibiza. does anyone know what the diameter of the shifter is as i dont have the gauges to correctly measure it and i dont think a tape measure will be accurate enough.
