Shark fin

Has anybody fitted a shark fin GPS antenna yet if so how easy is it

i have fit one from a s max but radio is not very good but it was not fantasic before i never use it radio so dont really matter.was ok to fit had to cut a few bits off it

Curtis.......do you have to fit a booster aswell

i bought a normal vw shark fin off ebay, fitted straight on, so can't see why the gps style wouldn't providing you buy a vw version.

I put a mk5 Golf fin on my golf, and it was fine. Fitted straight on and gave great reception

Does anyone know how to remove the actual ariel base? I know on some cars its a case of dropping the rear interior light, then there should be a nut to undo, and the ariel should come off, on min e though theres a small circuit board and the base instead and no nut, any ideas please!
