Its a 2001 Seat Leon Cupra mk1 in i think - one of the best colours.

Looks nice man, are you set on black wheels? I have them with mine (http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=259428 - i know it needs lowering!) and not sure about the black with blue.

Lol was going to go with white but then i thought - constant cleaning grrrrrr so gonna stick the black and drop it 30mm - got the face lift bumper going on soon with cupra R rear and skirts i can always change the wheels if i don't like them so no biggy but i reckon i will hopefully lol

finally the work started and so with no knowledge and no mechanical experience of any kind i bought myself a facelift front and rear bumper, bonnet, wings, radiator, bumper support bar and the front panel that holds the radiator oh and headlights

here's whats happened so far

Its going for spraying on tuesday morning and to have the rear bumper fitted also colour coding the stips down the sides of the doors and with any luck i will have found some side skirts by then. it will also be de-badged on tuesday with the spraying will take more pics when it comes back.

its on ebay for £75 although it has got minor damage but as you can see from the photo's it isn't really noticeable unless you know about it

well defo booked in for tuesday now to be sprayed and de - badged also funds a little tight right now as a result of this so wheels being sprayed black also (hopefully) as can't afford the alloys for a while, and with a little bit of luck i will find some side skirts cheap before it goes in so fingers crossed will look awesome come wed night

top marks for the front panel job mate i had to get a new front panel for mine after a bump but didnt want to risk trying to take off the old one. im currently after the front bumber support panel how much did you get yours for? and do you have a part number for?

i managed to get a full facelift front end for mine off ebay sry bud i have no idea what the part numbers are just got lucky on ebay

well she's sprayed up and done also had some other bits done - got the black trim on the doors colour coded - wheels now black de-badged (although left my boot release alone) all in all very happy with it all will post some pics as soon as i can - and it was all sprayed for £260 - bonnet, front and rear bumpers, trim wheels and badges removed well made up with it

just need some side skirts and the small cover for the rear bumper - only paid £60 for the bumper so can't complain really

Also had to get the wheels sprayed instead of new ones due to me running out of funding - so new rims will have to wait a little while

yeah lol funding first out of work at mo as soon as i'm back in work everything i want done to her will be finished although only 5 things left for the outside then engine suspension and brakes - a quick shift mod (will get someone to do that lol) then onto the inside get it all tidied up and a few subtle mods to make it a little nicer

yeah defo getting a splitter as soon as funds allow - bit broke at the mo lol although the spraying only cost me £260 lol - the reason for broke is the split descision to buy the mrs a new car lol or mine would have been finished (keep her happy she lets me get what i want when we have the funds ) lol

quick question sh4rk after putting your panel/crash bar and bumper back on did you have any probs like gaps under your lights ? i had a new panel put on and the garage said that i need to buy a crash bar because the bumper aint sitting properly. so i got that fitted aswell as some projector headlights
and now i have gaps under the lights ? i dont if its the lights that aint a perfect fit or if its the panel and crash bar that needs adjusting?

yeah bud i did have a problem with everything lining back up and i do now have a small gap under the lights - but not sure if it was there before i changed everything or if its new (just didn't really pay attention before lol) i think i only noticed it because i was admiring the finished result of my new front.
