Sfs tip

hello boys and girls. i just had a revo stage one put on my car and its made a huge difference. i have ordered a short shift kit, now i want a tip , ths have sold out, forge are too expensive what about this one

does anybody have any experience with them?

its a 2004 lcr btw.

forge, SFS, THS, all pretty much the same mate, you will notice no difference between the lot,

get one bought.

The forge items I have seen have been higher spec - more layers to the silicon wrap/layup than the SFS ones I've had. They've been more rigid as a result.

Not saying the SFS ones aren't as good, but the Forge hoses aren't just the same, but more expensive.

i've had forge and SFS and not noticed a difference in performance but feel is right that the forge one is more ridgid

Not sure if it's worth it on the TIP, TBH - if the TIP can collapse as suggested, then stiffer is better, surely?

On the Intercooler hose (from the charge pipe down to the driver's side), I would say the Forge was definitely worth it. Pressure and Heat here is higher than at the TB, and the SFS on mine got very soft.

On the TB Side, I had to trim the SFS at an angle to fit it correctly. I went for the SFS because I wanted the DV relocation, I can't say that it got as floppy as the LH side one, but temperature and pressure is lower. I certainly had to tighten the hose clamp tight to the point that it cut the SFS to stop it blowing off...

So it's really between THS & Forge then? I wouldn't want a squidgy TIP to be honest, that's the problem with the OEM one.

Such a shame THS have sold out and it will take 2months to make new ones, that 2months worth of lost business can't be good, the response from this forum has been huge, must be kicking themselves. I for one would have one right now if it wasn't for stock issues, Forge are just too expensive.

you guys worry to much, get the THS bought and save some cash, its only a hose, if you dont like it sell it and buy something else. you will notice no difference how sliff it is when you shut your bonnet.
