im pretty sure mines not 13-14 as i doubled counted and it came to 10-11 but will take a pic so i can count it properly - i counted it a while back and it was 13 - is it possible it could have moved up slightly?

just another thought, should i have in any way be seeing 25 psi in 5 gear?

ive got the RSD set up (the 210 thingy) - maximum ive ever seen was 20 ish in first gear when car was running ok -

when the car was working for a short time, i was on the motor way and saw 25 psi and it held there for a little while before dropping?

tbh i wonder if it could get much worse...i'd be inclined to try it, not sure 2 or 3 threads will make much difference in your case though. i dont think its gonna sort your existing problems unfortunately

Yeah i know what you mean. I have adjusted mine in the past. Just take a picture on the mobile before i adjust and can put it back as it was after.

Though best do some logging on vagcom first, to see what its saying

im familiar with sharky's case and unfortunately he's having a horrible time with his car at the moment. its been a while and he's just had no luck.

logs show there is a problem with boost pressure control and he's swapped the n75 and checked for leaks. the car is fitted with an ottenger chip by roadsport developments

tbh i wouldnt have been surprised if RSD touched the actuator, atleast to try and make their 210 claim to be abit more believable, but if it was running fine until these last few months i cant see it being the problem. but stranger things have happened with these cars

Going to adjust it tomorrow - if that fails going to take turbo off and give wastegate a clean as may be struggling to open or opening too much - hence low duty on N75 -

fingers crossed and all that and thanks for replies.

cheers- im off to watch the footie.

i have moved mine along to 13 threads but hasnt made any difference - only ever so slightly - i still need to clear the error code first but i doubt it will make any difference -

mitchy - not quite sure what you mean but when looking at your actuator, you will be seeing the top of the rod - turn the bottom one(on the right in pic) clockwise and turn the top one clockwise ill it meets the other nute -

use some wd40 and mind the heat -
