Check the earth, make sure its contacting bare metal of the bodywork, also check the positive is connected OK. Also - have you connected the 'Remote' cable to the headunit or a 5v supply?

ive connected the remote cable, and the connection to the positive of the battery is fine, ive tried the earth on bare metal but no green light. i cant see what else i can do? does the battery need to be disconnected before the earth is attached on bare metal?

I'm no expert, but its always something I'd recommend.

As said in other post, you should maybe check the fuse on the amp.

I would have thought "Rem" would be the correct one... you might want to check with one of the experts on here... I've only done the basics myself :)

try looping a bit of wire over from the battery positive on your amp to the remote and see if that turns it on....oh and p.cont is the wire you need ;)
