Ordered some of the millers XFE-PD and was sent the semi synthetic one instead of the Hi synthetic. It's a TDI 130, not that will make much difference!!!

Is it ok to mix the 2 oils in the engine ?

Maybe a dumb question but need to put some oil in the car asap.

Any advice ?

Okay, I'll ask you again. What did they send you? They make a range of semi synthetic oils, one of which I would possibly trust as a top up oil in an emergency. But that depends on what the stuff is you have in hand.

They have sent me XFE-PD Semi Synthetic, but I am using in the engine at the moment XFE-PD Hi Synthetic.

Sorry should have explained a little more.

Then I'd be happy topping up with that oil. It's a different weight, but still suitable for a pd engine. The full synthetic oil would be my preferred choice though. Better is best.:)
