Seeking info about 2009 Alhambra

Hi everyone,

I just purchased used 2009 model and never having owned one before have a few questions. I've been through a lot of posts back to 2010 but not everything is clear.

1. aux heater: is it possible to get a dash timer or a remote like some webasto heaters have or does this not make sense?

2. the car came with a Chinese head unit and the radio signal is weak. I read that the original h/u had some aerial booster tech so do I need some inline box or ?

3. when locking the car can it be made to beep? At the moment just the lights flash.

4. I have 2 green or brown (colour blind) DIN connectors behind the head unit that are not connected. One is an box aerial of some sort. I don't know where the other connector ultimately leads to. Any idea what the are for?

5. I have 2 sets of cinch connectors behind the head unit, labeled front left and right, and back left and right waiting to be connected to something. What are they for?

6. tucked underneath the head unit cage I have a small black box. What is it?

I'd post some pics but need to get to the magic post number first

my bad, I meant to say Fakra connectors. One goes to a box shaped aerial, the other I have no idea where it goes.
