I notice that people still 'de-lock' LCR's - is there still the same VW security issue with 2005 LCRs?

Don't really know exactly what the problem was but have a vague recollection of something - probably not the place to repeat it!

Dealers can do this but beware they may charge a fortune for the painting of the barrel. On another note the dealers may also not accept that there is a problem with the locks but it is a problem and I've seen it done but will say no more about it on here.

Best advice is don't leave things on display in your car to avoid it happening and they will probably just break in the car and not steal it by doing this.

done mine myself fairly easy well recommended mod...and safety feature

takes all of 5 mins, just make sure u dont unscrew the screw all the way or it will take a few hours
