Hi I am new to this forum and used to driving old fashioned auto box only and currently have a Audi A3 o2 plate 1.8 petrol. I went and looked at a seat Toledo 2.0 tdi with a dsg gear box with 120k on the clock for £2,000. Just a few questions is it normal when driving round town for the car to feel like it's not picking up and then only really kick in on a proper a road. Also I experienced roll back at traffic lights. There was shaking sound under dash board. Just want to know if this is normal?

Might be worth trying the model specific area on the forum as most in here don't have a toledo. From my perspective as an auto 2.0 tdi owner the engine is pretty quick in the lower gears and has a lot of pull.

Could be anything tbh... most common fault is mechatronics... or something as simple as a faulty brake switch
