Does anyone know what seats will fit in to my 52 plate 1.2 mk4 ibiza.
I've got a cig burn in the drivers seat base and am toying with the idea of 1 putting some kind of factory sport seat in vag or seat or 2 just getting it repaired. I quite fancy the sporty idea but haven't got a clue where to start on that score.
Also is it best to get cupra bumpers for the dealership or does anyone know of a better place. thanks in advance

Is your 1.2 a 3 door? If so you will need to get a seat that folds forward unless you are going to let all the passengers in via the near side. Basically, any polo/seat in that age range will fit without a problem. Id imagine with a few adjustments any seat will fit. Even the new Leon Cupra seat! Question is, would it look daft having the driver seat like the Cpt. chair and not the passengers?

As for bumpers, nope as far as I am aware the stealers are your best bet. Ttry a few on here for prices, as you get a discount

dont just change the driver seat if thats all you can afford go for the repair instead but if you can affordto replace the lot id go for the new leon cupra seats maybe need some mods to the subframe but it would be worth it

Sorry i ment change the lot. i've got a cig burn ion the back bench too. what sort of modding to the seat frame do you mean?

what the actual seats bolt to are subframes if you where to go for some leon seats or something im imagining they will need modifying to fit!

T Spark cheers for the bumper advice. i've seen you both talk about light washers and fog lamp kits how much do these beauties cast and how hard are they to fit?

I hear there is a new bumper coming out, so might be worth waiting for that? Id imagine the light washers can be retro's fitted but imho dont think it would be worth the hassle.

Fog lamp kits arent cheap, but relativly easy to fit. Again, just drop a thread in a stealers section on here, they will be able to give you exact prices.
