Seat stuck

diver side seat in my 3dr has got stuck, it slides back and fourth but does not tilt forward anymore to allow passengers to get in the back.


I did drop some coins down the side of the seat by accident could this be blocking something?

yes.

i presume you pull a handle up to tilt the seat? is this handle stuck or does it still move? if it moves then perhaps the cable is no longer connected. If its stuck then it indicates that the cable is still ok but that the mechanism is jammed. Possibly a coin or something in the mechanism..

yeah mine did this the coins are jammes in the mechinism.... pair of long nose pliers and you can get the coins out!

yup finally managed to get them out and got about £7 out of the side of the seat.
