...seen a link that i followed to seat.co.uk
on it had genuine seat extras that we all know such as armrest and boot tray etc etc

i spotted that it had a "sports exhuast" for the cupra, that basically just had the tail from the oval cupra R. does anybody have this exhuast and is it worth the money.

ive looked into supersprint and miltek-and IMHO they look shite, the tail pipes just dont suit

im after a single exit that will fill that mamoth hole they cut for some reason
also in the process of contacting nigel at blueflame about systems for the car as ive used them previously and would love another one of their systems

cheers

what is it, just the back box?
i just hate the repulsive twin exit tat that is feable
but im not wasting money on a back box when im after a full system.

i take it your system is not uprated, its just a seatsport back box?

na mate not even its just a piece of trim for the end, if your thinking of gettin a new system and cant find the end pipe that your like then this would be good to weld onto the one you get, i think its a really similar shape to the lcr exhaust end...

hmm
i could take it off your hands depending on what you want for it
but i am in touch with blueflame over sorting a system, i dont one exists for the LC from them (only the LCR) so ive offered up my car as a template to design it.
Ive had a system from them on a previous car and it was absolutely fantastic.
i just despise the twin exit look, and even the aftermarkets either have those or a feeble little single

only looking £40 or so inc postage.... i think it'd look good on a back i just never have time to get a full exhaust system made so went for the quick option of buyin a standard cupra backbox.

nice one, thanks for the info
ill bear it in mind

is it worth it in your opinion, how is it on a sound level both idling, hard acceleration and motorway speeds of 80ish?

Not that much different to standard noise wise , I'm happy with it , which is what matters at the end of the day . Plus it has a different tailpipe to all the others :D

Thanks neil,

ill look into it
but a bit of privy info for you all, i could soon have the first blueflame system in existance-its hopefully going to go ahead on my LC soon. AND IT WONT BE A TWIN PIPE EXIT, or at least mine damn well wont be

when i asked an exhaust fitter he said he'd cut the twin pipes down and make up an attachment to join the two pipes join into one then weld the new trim on just. I dont think its too expensive. If anyones interested in that trim piece i am open to sensible offers :)
