is it much better to go to a seat service centre over a local garage for a service/mot on a TDi 130? if so is there any recommended service centres in the glasgow area, i live 10 miles outside glasgow in a town called dumbarton. I know there is the arnold clark in paisley but is there anywhere else? Are bickets any good, they are quite far away from me but if they are really good/helpful I would consider going

Theres a VAG specialist in Clark Street/Murry Street/McKean Street Paisley that I've heard good things about. I'll go have a look on yell for it.

Well - from my personal experience with dealers, I'd take it to a trusted independent VAG specialist every time.

The obvious suggestion would be JBS in Chesterfield.

I'm somewhere near Matlock. There's a good independent garage on the A6 just outside Cromford - Ridgewood Motors. They do a lot of work on VWs, and although I haven't used them for servicing, I've used them for several repairs, MOTs etc and they are one of the very few garages that I would trust with my car

But Derbyshire is quite big, they might not be near you.

Whereabouts are you situated ?
