You can get the MFD3 or MFD2 second hand or from the stealers.. New from the stealers, the MFD3 is well over £1000, on Ebay they seem to be around £8-900.

The MFD2 is a cheaper option but is also older and doesn't have as many features as the MFD3. You'll also be hard pushed to find a Seat MFD3 second hand, I'm after one myself and can only find VW ones. They'll still work, but they have a VW splash screen at the start and I'm picky! :p

I looked into that one and didn't like the fact that the sat nav was cd based..

If it is CD based, does that mean to use the sat nav the CD must be inserted in the player? Sorry dont know much about this type of thing.

no not with the new ones. You load the cd once and it gets saved to the harddrive.

I think 800-900 is a reasonable price for them in "mint" condition.

Ideally I think that's how much they should be new VAG and the eBayers must be making a killing from them.

I'll be on the lookout for one, in the next 6months, need to acquire a Leon first lol
