SEAT Portable System [Garmin] Update Issue

Hi All - I had not updated my Garmin portable system since I bought my car new in December 2013. After downloading the 'Fresh' software I updated my system from version 7.11.22 to 7.16.8 the update seemed to work fine and after safely removing the hardware I restarted the device only to find that it would not progress passed the Seat welcome screen. When I first started the device it stated that the firmware had been updated successfully and for a while in the bottom left of the screen with the Seat logo I could see three dots blinking. After a while however this stopped and despite leaving the screen it never progresses past this screen. I have reconnected it to the computer but Fresh states that my software is update to date.

Has anyone else had this problem and can anyone please help

i had this problem just the other day, sadly the only fix is to do a device restore using fresh (takes hours) and then install the update before you connect it to the car and activate the branding, hope this helps.

seems like a bug in the update.

it all seems to be back as it was before once I restored to factory setting but i now have to manually pair the phone for it to allow me to stream music straight from my phone? can someone help of this? (sorry for the thread jack)!

before it used to just pair when i turned the ignition on? (it recognises my phone and remembers it), I just have to go into 'phone' then select my phone before it will shows in the media menu when i press aux???

Its really frustrating

my phone used to just re-connect within a minute or so when i started the car??

same here im affraid, i think its the update, its annoying

I had this when I updated the sat navs for both my toca 15 and FR edition 14. Left them for 10 mins plugged into the car, engines running and it sorted itself out and continued with a loading bar.

sorry to bring up an old thread tried everything to get mine working after updating to 7.16.8 and i cant seem to get it working i want bluetooth back and cant afford a new one. i did a factory reset turned it on and it tells me to connect it to the car and then gets to the seat screen and keeps the loading bit in the corner
