My next service via the stamp book is 24500 miles. But today at just 23000 miles the dash has come up with 700 miles to next service OR 120 days.

Now should I stick to the stamp booklet or stick to what the dash is telling me?

My car was registered in December 06 so I assume this will be its 3rd service now.

What should I also look to get on the 3rd service is it a normal one or do I need anything else doing?

ALso how much is costs etc?

Go by what it says in the service book. The service counter in the car is a bit hit and miss - something to do with counting the service intervals in km rather than miles and then doing a conversion.

How long in time is it since the last service ?
If 12 mths form last service comes before the 24500, then you need to get the service done then.

Nah I do 10k miles in less than 12 months.

Can I also get them to do a warranty check if there is such a thing? Meaning they can check for any faults?

Also my left mirror don't seem to fold in properly it stops half way is this a fault?

Re the service, i would speak to the dealer. Also ask them what is involved and how much, the service handbook should also give you an idea of what is included in each service.

You can also ask the dealer to look at anything that you feel isnt right with the car while it is in their hands, this needs to be mentioned when you book it in though as they may not always have time if you turn up on the day with a list of things you want checking.

The mirror is faulty... or at least not working as it should !
