Seat Leon Mods - A few questions

Hi all,

Was just reading Brad's post on modifying his Seat Leon TDi - (http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=167081) and it got me thinking about doing something to my Seat Leon 2002 Tdi 110 SE.

My first questions is does anyone have any side skirts, Cupra R front or back bumpers as mine currently have that plastic crap on.

My second one is, I'm looking at getting a Milltek Cat-Back non-resonated exhaust on there and have been quoted £371 inc. VAT and then £90 for fitting, how does that price sound? Does anyone offer them on here?

Finally, for the front/rear bumpers, how much would I be looking at for a spray in silver?

My other mods I would like to do are:

- Break Calipers - Red (Halfords)
- Side Strips painted silver (Halfords)
- Alloys painted Matte Black (Halfords)
- Side Skirts/Front Bumper/Back Bumper (ebay/here?)
- Milltek Exhaust - (Anywhere I can get one)

For a proper OEM Cupra R body kit, your looking at £1000 to source, fit, paint. Second hands ones are like gold-dust, and get eaten up in an instant, your very lucky to get them...

Exhaust price sounds good. Get a new panel filter and a re-map. I got the same car as you but 51-plate, the green filter made a difference.

Don't do the calipers... you don't have Brembo's, will look gay.

Thanks for the reply. I have drilled and smoothed out my air filter so hopefully it will sound alright. Yeah, I did wonder about the brakes...Thanks for the heads up.

£1000 is a bit steep for my budget, I saw Brad picked his up for quite cheap, are there any good places to look that sell these second hand or is it best to just keep checking on ebay? I've found a couple of replica fibreglass ones, are they any good or is it best to steer clear from?

eBay... but only get the official OEM SEAT stuff... as the fiber glass ones are sh!t...

One tiny bump and you need a whole new bumper.. the OEM ones are ABS plastic and have some give in the, where as the fireglass ones are too brittle... and take no punishment!
