Seat Leon MK1 2002 doors won't open/lock with remote + other electronic issues

Hi there everyone!
Firstly, I would like to apologise for the grammar issues there will be in this thread, my English is far away from being perfect.
I got a Seat Leon 2002 1.4 16v car for graduation and it does have a couple issues what I'd like to solve.

First and most important one: The doors won't lock/unlock via remote key.
- I took the key to a locksmith to test it because I thought it doesn't work however the led is flashing when I press the buttons. But he made me sure the key is working perfectly on it's Mhz frequency it should be on.
- The central locking works when I lock it with the key or with the buttons inside (except the rear left door but that's a mechanical problem), but it won't lock/open the trunk, I have to do it manually all the time, I doesn't even hear the lock's sound when I lock the car.
- I tried to re-pair the key with the car with every solution I found online, but nothing seems to work.
- I ordered a VAG-COM cable and took VCDS-Lite and went inside the convinience module and I saw that when I press a button on the key, the car does recognise it because the numbers change - both the lock and unlock - but it still doesn't open/lock the car.

The question is, what else can be the problem? I tought it was the convinience module, but everything to seems working, the windows roll down when I unlock the car..etc Is there any chance it all happens because something is wrong with that module?

Second: Door open sensors(?)
- For some reason the front right passenger door is messing around, sometimes when I open it it's light on the bottom turns on with the interior lights, but sometimes it not. I tried to change bulbs in it and it's making a really weird thing, I have a voltage meter, and I opened the door and took out the bulb to see if there's power or not, there was around ~14-15volts, but after I put the bulb back in the power is gone. (I tried many different bulbs, tested them they all worked fine, I tried to rotate the bulb but still nothing)
- But sometimes at random times it just pop back on like nothing happened before, and it's kinda irritating when I drive it at night and my passenger opens the door the ligts wont turn on unless I open it too, or someone at the back opens their doors or I turn it on manually.

Does anyone know what could be the issue? Why does it working randomly then stops without anything being done with it?

Third: The high-beam dashboard light
- I know it's a little thing but it's more irritating at nights, for some reason when I turn on the high-beams the indicator light doesn't come on. But sometimes it does, it's like when I'm on a bumpy road sometimes it just pops back on, but after a while it starting to fade away then goes off.

Please help me solve these problems! I'll be grateful for an eternity!

Hi there, welcome

there is an abundance of info with this chassis wiring issues with door locks etc

i too have the problem with my doors not responding. Even if i lock the door physically, the rest dont respond. I havnt found a solution, but tbh i havnt bought a new lock module to find out. Alarm works still.

Second issue, there is lots of info out there on this. Unfortunately its often the result of broken wires somewhere. I have had almost all the door wiring up to see if i can find an issue myself, you should start in the door hinge inside the corrugated rubber boot. Then move to under the dash where the CCM lives. Also check the wiring along the skirting too. theres plenty more after that including in the boot hinge

Cant help you on 3 sadly

Have fun lol

Welcome to the forum.

The problem with the door light is almost certainly just the lock module imo. The microswitches start to fail and the car doesn't know the door is open. You can get new door lock modules on ebay fairly cheaply. Here is an example, but you will probably need one for left hand drive etc

The boot lock may be a mechanical issue, or an electrical one. You would have to see if you have power reaching the connectors for it.

The high beam i'm not sure, it sounds like it is a bad earth connection on the dash cluster, or maybe a crack in the solder joint where the LED attaches to the circuit board.
