Seat Leon - Loss of Power HELP !?

I have a problem with my Seat Leon 1.9tdi (53)

When I start the engine, and it is idling, it is juddering and feels like it wants to stall.

When I am driving around, I feel a severe loss of power and when trying to accelerate I get a pause before it wants to pull away.

I have an engine ECU remap 2 years ago and all was well, the problem comes and goes but lately is always there. It stems from a crash I had a little under 2 years ago where the front passenger side was smashed in. It was fully repaired but has never felt the same since and the last month the car feels really bad. When I pull out of a junction, the car feels like it wants to stall, pauses and then pulls away and if I put my foot down, I get a blow of dark smoke out of the back.

Anyone any ideas ? A few garages look at it and no-one can help. I am hoping someone here may be able to help ? I have no experiance with cars so be gentle with me !

It has been plugged in and no fault codes are shown.

are you aware you'ev started two threads exactly the same???

sounds like what mine did when MAF failed.

Really Ollie ? is it a quick fix and how much does it cost to get done ? I am really getting fed up with this problem now. Loads of people have looked at it but noone can help ?

What is this VAG COM thing ? I see there are leads to buy on ebay and you can download the software. Is this worth doing ?
