If im understanding this right, you're getting what you think is exhaust note coming through you're speakers? ?

Well if that's the case, you got a aftermarket amp wired up? If so then its a poor earth which is actually picking up alternator whine, sounding like an engine/exhaust running.

No amp wired up in the car but if I had a poor earth that's how it would sound, dpf filter light isn't on the dash cluster, an there's no smoke from the exhaust an the car isn't down on power so would you rule dpf out?? Car is completely standered no remaps pod filters nothing, any help is appricated I font want to go to the mechanic to get ripped off!!

He said it was possibly doing a regen... this wouldn't bring any light up nor affect power. Its the normal cycle for the dpf. You're thinking of a clogged dpf that would throw a light up and possibly limp mode.
regens do slightly alter the note.
Can you be any clearer on what you're problem is

As said above

When mine regens it alters the exhaust note and sounds rumbley as it's normal process for a regen!

The problem is the exhaust changing note, do does that mean the noise in hearing is the regen, the car automatically does it when it needs to??
