Having just bought this car I had a look under the bonnet. I found there was a clip missing from the trim for heat and noise dampening. Is this a known issue? The trim doesn’t seem to fit to the bonnet very well anyway….

the trim/carpet on the underside of the bonnet?

it gets wet, then the heat from the turbo dries it out. It shrinks and curls.

Mine was missing one also, was it the middle one by chance?

You can buy them at any Seat dealer or online here:

£4.28 for 10.

If your near Gloucester you can have a couple for free from me.

That’s very kind but I’m Sheffield based. It was the one in the middle that was missing. Thanks for the link 👍

Yeah, they don't fit very well, and it's seems the middle one drops out, expect it's lodged in the engine bay somewhere.
