SEAT Leon 1.5 mild hybrid 48v Alternator problem

Hello All
I wonder if anyone can help me with some advice?
I have a 2021 Leon Estate mild hybrid DSG done 30k miles and 2 months out of warranty unfortunately!
During the last 10 months the 12v light comes on then the 48v warning then they go red and the battery light comes on telling me to stop the engine, calling the dealer they told me to drive the car to them which i did on several occasions but when you stopped and started the engine the warning lights would stop and it wouldn't leave fault codes
6 weeks ago the same thing happened but lots more waring lights came on and the gearbox disengaged so it broke down completely and i had to get it recovered to the SEAT dealer, again the lights went out and the dealer said there was no fault codes so they had the car for 2 weeks discharged and charged the 48v battery and gave it back to me!
3 weeks ago the same thing happened and the car broke down and had to be recovered to the SEAT dealer although this time i managed to video the lights coming on to show the dealer as i got the feeling they didn't believe me even though the breakdown people verified the fault on the first breakdown!
This time they have diagnosed a faulty alternator which has damaged the 48v battery, over £3500 of work and not in warranty, the car has been at the dealer for 3 weeks and
at present SEAT are turning there back on the problem and not offering any support or goodwill even though it has a full SEAT history and i have been told this fault is not uncommon across other VW Group brands as they are saying it is out of warranty and the dealer didn't keep records when in warranty because the lights went out, so there was nothing for them to claim!
This is the short version of the story!!
Can anyone offer any advice on this very sad story which at present i have a car 3 years and 2 months old and a bill over £3500
Thanks in advance for any help
Andrew

Unfortunately, that is how SEAT operates in the UK. They don’t care at all if you don't opt for an extended warranty; without it, you have no chance. I recommend looking elsewhere for the 48V battery part, especially if it is the battery located underneath the driver’s seat.
