should be at silverstone as the entry is paid all ready, unless you ment you hope to be up that weekend if you are come over and say hello, as for clearance this has been a huge issue the truck had to be modified to get it on
but has been worth it the gearbox has taken a bit of getting used to but great to get back to proper left foot braking

Good luck guys, looks good and they do sound great. :)

I'll certainly make my way over to Oulton in May, even though it is my birthday. It'll be a good day out. :)

I have heard a very strong suggestion from someone who works for one of the teams that this car will not now do britcar but will do the SCC with a real top flight driver. Don't know if it is true or who the driver could be - although a name was mentioned.

Hope this isn't true Wallace (it's ron here) if so what the :censored: has happened man. Just spoke to yeti he has said something has happened which sounds like its a bit of a shame. I was well up for this year thought the two teams would work really well together. Fotunately i Have not begun fabricatting your air bottle trolley yet. I take it you don't want one now.
Well i hope you, craig, roger and all the others can make it to some races this year. Gotta get plumber dude back out to spa, maybe this time the barman will sell him the picture of the cow. Anyway look after yourself matey and hopefully see you lot real soon.

Must Go Faster:

I don't think this should be seen as a negative step: the car deserves a top flight driver in a top flight championship - I am sure that Wallace and Andy from Sureterm can still pick up a really good competitive car and have a good crack at the britcar series. There should be quite a few of last year's Leon Cupras around and they are probably easier for a private team to work with and still fast enough to score good points

Yes they are. I am helping to run the car (Mark Cole's Ex Cupra Cup Car) with wallace and Grommit last year. I am still very much involved with helping Grommit and his dad run this car. It's a shame for me as I was at the brands test day helping wallace with the new car and thought the car showed real promise. And yes i agree the new car is not so endurance racing friendly. It has however left my friend without a drive for next season and I was looking forward to friendly bit of banter between the two teams. And as for the car deserrving a top flight driver I can assure you that Wallace is very much a top flight driver, Andy maybe not quite so but with time I'm sure he would be. And as for top flight championship!!!!! Ferrari's, porsches, ex btcc, etcc, dtm race cars. Iwould say we are in a top flight championship. We are supporting A1 GP and we are now a televised championship. These of course i my own opinions which i am entilted too as you are yours.
Are you saying that Andy and Wallace have got rid of the car totally now then??

All I know is what I posted earlier - that the car is destined for the SCC with a top notch driver. There is supposed to be some sort of formal acknowledgement this week. If this means that Wallace is without a drive, then I am sorry, but as I said there are cars better suited to britcar and it doesn't change the fact that the car is a dedicated racer designed for a new series while most britcars are slightly (how shall I put this) more classic - I mean a really old DTM Merc from about 6 or 7 yrs ago was winning last time I looked.

hi guys

Its true the car will not be out in britcar and its also i will not be driving the seat
this year. i am however looking to get hold of another seat sometime this year
to race in britcar, which by the way has old and new cars involved maybe someone should take a fresh look at the series. As for andy who knows the weather pattern changes less it you get my drift. still good luck whatever he does. as for the air bottle stand yer pleas hold fire sorry not been intouch been trying to earn some money. i will be up at silverstone

Wallace, I am sorry to hear that you may be without a drive and hope it sorts itself out for you. Nothing to do with me - I am just a fan, not a driver, not a team member. I still think, however that the car really should be used in the SCC and if my info about who is going to drive it is correct, it will be a championship challenger from day one.

scc

yer this is true it will be a front runner as the championship hasnt got a full grid and they need all the cars possible. which is unlike britcar which has to many cars and will be running reserves this year and these are grids of 45 and longer races up to 70. And as for me dont worry, i will always get a run out just choosey who i drive for. enjoy your racing this year.
