I just fitted the VW interfase to my 2002 Skoda Octavia with factory Symphony CD Radio.

Here are the pics

If you have the factory radio, I am pretty sure the rear conectors of your radio are the same as the one I have in my radio.

Maybe you can pull out your radio and check the rear conectors type and this way you can be sure that the VW interfase will work for you.

Feel free to ask me any question.

Good luck,

Isaac

wow, looks good.
what's the VW interface like?

Hey Kevin,

If you have installed a car radio, amplifier or a car alarm before, this should be a easy job for you................The instalation is a piece of cake.

Ones is installed, it work very similar as using the CD feature on your radio. All of you CD features are the same for the iPod.

You advance to the next music by pressing the CD radio buttons.

In my Symphony radio you can only see the track number but you can not see the name of the music. But the name of the track is displayed on the iPod screen.
I dont care about this because the ipod is inside the glove box compartment.

Here is the example of what I see:

Also, if I touch the AS button, on my radio it play ramdom music from the iPod.

While the iPod is conected to the radio, the iPod buttons are inoperative. You control everything from your radio.

The sound quality is exellent, Same as hearing a CD:funk:

I decide for this interfase becuase I like a clean view of my dash and keep it factory (everything is inside my glove box) Also this way thief dont find any interesting to steel inside my car[B)]

I hope this info help you,

Isaac
