Usually if you hold the window switch for a couple of seconds upwards the window will close fully (one touch operation, from now on referred to as one touch). However mine more often than not gets stuck in the same place, then goes back down to almost fully open position. If I can get it the past sticking point by slightly pulling the switch, then one touch will function and close the window. If not it will let me try a few more failed attempts before the one touch stops working. I then have to hold the button up until it gets to the sticking point, release and then pull and hold the switch until fully closed.
After that I need to reset the one touch by holding the switch upwards (while window is closed) for 5 seconds or more before releasing. One touch will then possibly work again. It fails about 7 or 8 times out of 10. The passenger side is also doing it now but not quite as frequently. The mechanisms seem to be working perfectly fine apart from this, there's no worrying noises or anything that sounds sinister. Sometimes it sticks in the same place when holding the switch without one touch operation, but nothing seems to be blocking the window tracks.
I have uploaded a video to YouTube of whats happening.
